The "Christs" wireless network is available throughout the College, including the Library.
Computers
There are three MCS (Managed Cluster Service) computers in the Reading Room, one further terminal on the landing outside the Library entrance, and a Quick Print MCS computer in the Print Room.
Printers
Printing, scanning, and photocopying facilities are available in the Print Room (located on the Mezzanine). To print or make photocopies you will need to set up a print account.

If you are using your own laptop you will need to connect to the College printing system, called DS-Print. Guidance on connecting your laptop to the College printers: help.uis.cam.ac.uk/service/printing. There are different instructions depending on whether you are using a Windows computer, or a Mac.

There is a computer in the Printing Room which connects to all printers for printing. Just press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to login onto your profile, and then send your job to print . |
Library IT Support Office
During term, IT support is normally available 9.30am-4.30pm Monday-Friday in the Library IT Support Office per appointment, located on the Library’s Mezzanine. You can email helpdesk@christs.cam.ac.uk to make an appointment with a member of the College’s IT team.
- Wireless Internet Connection: Connect to Christ's or Eduroam. You might need to register or ask Christ's IT staff for the initial registration. Eduroam is available for all Cambridge University Students while Christ's is available for just Christ's members in College.
- Connecting your laptop to college printers: You will need a few minutes to set up for printing to your laptop. It is advised to do this before coming into the library. Simply go to (https://help.uis.cam.ac.uk/service/printing) website which offers individual instructions for Windows or Apple.
The Library IT Support Office, located on the Library’s Mezzanine (top floor) per appointment. The top floor has some accessibility issues like a narrow corridor and lift access only during staff hours. Please contact IT support by email helpdesk@christs.cam.ac.uk or library staff for alternative arrangements.
