The Old Library is next to the Working Library and houses the College's collection of 50,000 early-printed books and manuscripts, ranging from 11th-century manuscripts through to 20th-century works. This library has materials in English, Latin, Greek, Arabic and Sanskrit.

The Old Library is open to the public by prior appointment only Monday-Friday 9:30-4:30pm, and it can be visited by researchers (by appointment) 10-12am and 2-4:30pm Monday-Friday. To find out more about the Old Library and visiting it, do look at the library website.
