Christ’s College takes sustainability seriously. Green issues and initiatives are always under discussion by students, staff and Fellows. In 2020 Christ’s made the landmark decision to divest from all fossil fuels by 2030. We continue to work on the de-gasification of our properties, sustainable energy procurement, and waste management solutions.

Christ’s is at the forefront of tackling the climate crisis as the host of the annual Christ’s Climate Seminar Series.

The Environmental Sustainability Strategy approved by College Council on 29 November 2022.

The intercollegiate report on Biodiversity published in October 2022.

The College achieved a platinum Green Impact Award in June 2023.

The College’s Responsible Investment Policy adopted by Council in October 2020 is recorded in the Investment Policy Statement.
