There are a number alumni societies and associations which have been created to bring alumni together with current students in specific areas of interest or professions.
Throughout the year there are opportunities for alumni who interested in the Choir or music to get involved with activities and events. In 2024, the Choir alumni were invited to sing with current Choir members at the 40th anniversary celebration concert for David Rowland, and at our 'Christmas with Christ's' event at St Lawrence Jewry in London.
If you'd like to stay up to date with Choir events, please contact Christ's Alumni Office at alumni@christs.cam.ac.uk. If you would like to make a one-off gift or a regular donation to ensure that the current and future generations of the Choir can have the same experiences, please contact us!
From the Fairbairns and the Head of the Cam to May Bumps and Blades, the Boat Club has a number of events throughout the year in which the "Crustaceans", made up of CCBC alumni, are welcome to compete. For those who no longer wish to take part in the rowing, there is a healthy social calendar too!
If you'd like to stay up to date with CCBC news, you can sign up to the mailing list by contacting alumni@christs.cam.ac.uk and find out more about supporting the Boat Club here.
The CCMAA is open to any Christ's member who studied medicine or has gone on to work in a medically related career. The Association aims to bring together members sharing a common interest in both medicine and Christ's at regular intervals in Cambridge and elsewhere to promote the exchange of ideas, to network and socialise. Events usually feature discussions, lectures and a dinner.

The Old Library at Christ’s dates from the College's foundation in 1505, with John Fisher (Lady Margaret Beaufort’s confessor) beginning a tradition of donating books that has continued throughout the centuries. As a result, its collections today number some 50,000 rare manuscripts and printed books covering a wide variety of languages, historical periods and subject areas.
As custodian of this remarkable heritage, the College continues to protect and curate this valuable content for future generations. Its efforts include a major ongoing conservation programme, with the objectives of expertly restoring books and long-term custodianship to ensure optimum conditions for preservation of the Library and Archives collections.
The Friends of the Old Library is not a formal association but extends it's news and events to all who take an active interest in the Old Library, its collections and conservation efforts. You can find out more here and sign up to the Friends of the Old Library mailing list by contacting alumni@christs.cam.ac.uk.
