If you declared in your UCAS application that the UK government has granted you refugee status or humanitarian protections within the UK, please EITHER upload an evidence document OR provide a share code and your date of birth by 5 November so that we can check your immigration status.

What exactly is needed?

To demonstrate status as a refugee/asylum seeker/forced migrant we need you to upload at least one of the following:

> Evidence of immigration status from eVisa issued by UKVI
> Share code & date of birth to allow us to check your status on the UK Gov website.
> Application Registration Card (ARC) – asylum seekers only
> Letter of support from registered educational refugee charity such as Refugee Education UK if they have been supporting you

How do I upload my document?

Please save your document as a pdf file with the file name following this example

For the fictional Asha Silva applying for Natural Sciences (Biological) with UCAS Personal ID 1566276477, the file name would be

4-NaturalSciences(Biological)-SILVAAsha-RefugeeDocument-1937276291

Please make sure
> there are NO SPACES
> you use hypens
> there is the number 2.1 at the beginning.
> if you are applying for Natural Sciences, please write NaturalSciences(Physical) or NaturalSciences(Biological) in all cases.

Please use the Refugee document upload tool to upload your pdf. Once you press submit form at the end, make sure that you see the screen confirming that the form has been received safely. Thank you for your help in sending your document following our instructions - it helps us to process everything as efficiently and accurately as possible.

How do I provide a sharecode?

If you are providing a sharecode rather than a document, you still go to the refugee document upload tool to do this - there is a question on it that invites you to give a sharecode.
