New Court is an example of Brutalist architecture designed by Sir Denys Lasdun. It contains undergraduate accommodation together with the Yusuf Hamied Centre (where we have common rooms, theatre, TV room, gym, function room, one of the music rooms, and the squash court) and a seminar room. In front of the buildlings there's the small Darwin Garden, including a bronze sculpture of the young Darwin.
