This page is part of the Christ's College current applicants section.
Please get used to checking here before you write to us with a question - it may well be that someone else has asked the same thing! And if you do need to email us, please remember to start with the details we need (below) so that we can answer efficiently.
- your name
- your subject (including 'Biological' or 'Physical' if Natural Sciences)
- your UCAS number
- which country you are applying from
I got an update from UCAS with a Campus change. Why is that?
You made an Open Application and have been allocated to Christ's College. UCAS has just changed you from Open to Christ's ("Campus A") - it's fine.
Please could you check I've done everything I need to?
No - sorry. We don't have capacity to do this, nor are we in a good position to check which things are relevant to you. Please instead check what you need to do by looking through the information in the current applicants section. For each thing please ask yourself a) is it relevant to me and b) have I done it? Please always check that you see the screen confirming that a form has been submitted. If you're still feeling unsure please ask a parent, guardian or friend to read through the current applicant's section with you if you think it would help.
I submitted a form and didn't get an automatic email. Please could you confirm that you've received it?
When you submit any of the forms (for uploading things or e.g. the Christ's info form) you're asked at the end to look out for the screen confirming that the form has been received safely. If you see this screen, it has been received safely, if you don't it hasn't and you should try again. The automatic emails are a nice-to-have and they normally work, but for all sorts of reasons things can go wrong with automatic emails - don't worry if you don't receive one: as long as you saw the screen confirming that the form has been received safely, we have it. If you're not sure whether you have successfully submitted a form, submit another one.
What if I've done something wrong in uploading a document?
Please don't worry: we'll let you know if we need you to do something differently (and be prepared - we'll badger you a lot if you forget to include the details we need at the start of all emails!).
I've made a mistake on my MyCApp form but it's already submitted. What can I do?
We can't edit the MyCApp. If you made a significant mistake, please write to us at admissions@christs.cam.ac.uk, starting your email with the normal details:
Your name (exactly as you wrote it for UCAS, surname in CAPITALS)
Your intended course (incl. 'Biological or Physical' if Natural Sciences)
Your UCAS number (no dashes)
Which country you are applying from
Please write out the question from your MyCApp in bold (you can use the relevant preview of My Cambridge Application to find the question), and then write underneath it the correct answer that you would like to give. We will add the information to your application file.

To: admissions@christs.cam.ac.uk Dear Christ's Admissions, Eric LIU I made an error on my MyCApp form. Here is the question and corrected information: MyCApp 4.1 Many thanks, Eric |

I've missed a deadline. What should I do?
It is now too late to submit the My Cambridge Application and the Christ's Info Form.
Otherwise, we have a 'no fuss' approach to missed deadlines. If you can see what to do below and then do it quickly, correctly (i.e. follow the instructions on the relevant page precisely) and without fuss, we will do our best to process it efficiently for you. What we don't have capacity to do is answer emails about late forms, documents, written work etc. Thank you for your understanding. We will only consider information that is in your file at the time it is read.

Will I need to send you my TMUA results when I get them?
No - if you've sat the TMUA, ESAT, UCAT or LNAT we will receive your results automatically (and we'll be checking for missing ones and will contact you if we need anything from you).
Will the interviews be online?
Yes.
I've just received SAT scores - how do I give you the results?
Please upload the score reports as an additional document. Follow the instructions on the additional documents page, except when you name the file replace AdditionalDocument with SATscores. Many thanks!
Should I submit my IELTS scores? I put the results in my UCAS application but am not sure if you need proof
You do not need to send documents. If we select you for an offer we will ask you for these post offer. Please just do the things we have asked you to do - we do not want you to send additional things.
I will be taking an English language test (e.g. IELTS) during the application process. How do I submit my scores after I have taken the test?
Please upload the Test Report form as an additional document. NB if you're not already booked in for a test, there's no need to book for one - probably easier to wait and see if you get an offer, and if yes, whether there is an English language requirement. In more cases than you might think, we will not need to set a requirement, and if we do need to, you'll have until June to sit the test and meet it.
