Professor Stephen Blyth elected next Principal of LMH

Stephen Blyth

Congratulations to Professor Stephen Blyth (m. 1985 and Lady Margaret Fellow) who has been elected to be the next Principal of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. Stephen read Maths at Christ's, graduating with a First, and Captained the Men's Football Club while an undergraduate. He completed his PhD at Harvard.

Stephen was elected a Lady Margaret Beaufort Fellow at Christ's in 2009 in recognition of his exceptional philanthropic support of the College, particularly for student support and access initiatives.

LMH was founded in 1879 as the first College to give women an Oxford University education. We are particularly thrilled that Stephen will be taking the helm at a College named for our own founder, Lady Margaret Beaufort.
