What's covered?
This session provides information, advice and guidance about what subject combinations and qualifications to consider in order to make competitive applications to top universities in the future. Comment from previous sessions
The seminar was very helpful for me to decide which subject I have to focus on. I know now which subjects are useful, what required for each department in universities especially because I haven’t decided what I would like to study in higher education.
Super useful! Definitely one of the clearest guides to choosing A-level subjects and makes the whole thing so much less intimidating. Thank you!
Excellent - really good advice presented in a clear and engaging manner.
Presenter very knowledgeable and answered questions confidently.
Really helpful - lots of information for students and staff! Thank you.

What's covered?
If we ask how much you already know about studying at / applying to Cambridge on a scale of 1-10 and your answer would be 4 or less, this introductory session is for you.
This session may be especially helpful if you are the first in your family to apply to university or if you come from a background where not many apply to university.
The webinar will cover the basics and give you information about next steps for finding out more. As the webinar will not cover additional info for international students, if you are from outside the UK, you are still welcome but please also come to an international webinar.

This session will explain how student finance works in the UK including how much you might expect to receive, how it's paid to you and how it's paid back. We'll also talk about what kinds of costs you might expect in going to university, as well as possible sources of funding beyond student finance loans/grants, and an overview of the support you could receive if you study at Cambridge.
