This section is Christ's College, Cambridge information for students who have submitted their UCAS application and have applied to Christ's.

Welcome! Thank you for submitting a UCAS application and applying for 2026 or deferred 2027 entry. We are the Christ's Admissions Team, and our names are Kristy, Fran, and Ellie. We're here to administer (but not to assess!) your application and answer your questions, and we'll support you through this section of the Christ's website from now until decisions-time at the end of January 2026.

The Cambridge process assesses you carefully, and there are quite a few forms and 'bits' to do after your UCAS application, but if you follow the information in this section and work with us stage by stage (we've put the dates next to each stage), we will be able to guide you through the process smoothly.

Current points

Tues 25 Nov
Still busy scheduling...If you've already received an invitation to interview (with dates, times, joining details), please make sure that you've actually read it. It may sound obvious but some of you haven't! Questions about late interview attendance forms? Please see the current questions page rather than emailing us. Thank you!

Mon 24 Nov -
A helpful new resource for understanding more about the online interviews.

Sat 22 Nov
Happy weekend. A bit of an update: we've finished selection for interview in all subjects - all of you should know whether or not you have been selected. If you've not seen an email from us either notifying you that you've been selected for interview or letting you know that you've not been selected, please check your spam/junk folder.
Although we have sent the invitations to interview themselves in some subjects, realistically we have a lot of work to do to make all of the arrangements and send invitations to interview in all subjects. Please bear with us and we'll be in touch as soon as possible - the more you let us get on with it, the faster we'll be. The list in Stage 4 is always up-to-date. NB there is no logic to which order we process the different subjects in - some are just ready sooner than others.

Questions about late forms and documents? Please see the current questions page rather than emailing us.

Contacting Christ's: We need your help to work efficiently! We request that you start all emails to Christ's Admissions Team with:
> Your name (exactly as you wrote it on your UCAS form)
> The course you've applied for (including 'Biological or Physical' if Natural Sciences),
> Your UCAS number (10 digits, please write it as one number without dashes)
> The country you are applying from (e.g. France)

Stage 1: up to 15 Oct / Deadlines & how to apply

The application process is set out on the how to apply page. Here is a reminder of the initial deadlines as your UCAS application isn't the only thing to do by 15 October:

When possible / Consider booking Applicant Webinar Series sessions.

Sept deadlines / Applicants for the following subjects should already be registered for the relevant admissions test, and in some cases you may even have already taken it: Chemical Engineering; Computer Science; Economics; Engineering; Law; Medicine, Natural Sciences. See table of info

15 Oct at 18:00 UK time / UCAS application (including reference & predicted grades for any exams not yet sat). See the UCAS information. Please ensure that your referee is ready, and aware of the deadline too - it is a very strict deadline. If you or your referee misses it by even a minute we can't consider your application.

15 Oct / Take steps to avoid email issues - Read and act on receiving email.

Our advice: don't leave meeting deadlines to the last minute. If something unexpected happens (life has really bad timing sometimes) or if something goes wrong, it will be too late to fix it. Unfortunately we cannot consider late applications so we encourage you to do everything safely ahead of deadlines (and with that in mind, once everything above is sorted, feel free to move onto the next section before 15 Oct if you like).

Stage 2: 15-22 Oct / Valid application with MyCApp

Everyone has 22 Oct deadlines. Once you've met the 15 Oct deadlines, you can get on with some of them.

Questions about sending forms and documents late? Please see the current questions page rather than emailing us.

22 Oct 18:00 / My Cambridge Application - Within 48 hours of your UCAS form submission, you will receive an email with log-in details for My Cambridge Application (MyCApp). Please then see the information. If you have problems / questions about filling in My Cambridge Application, please contact the helpdesk directly (applicationhelp@ug.admin.cam.ac.uk). If you do not receive your email with the log-in details, please check your spam / junk folders. You can generate a new log-in email here if needed. You have not made a valid application if you don't meet the MyCApp deadline.

22 Oct 18:00 / Photo - As part of My Cambridge Application all applicants will be asked to upload a photo that meets certain requirements. It will help if you prepare for this in advance and have the photo saved on your computer.

22 Oct 18:00 / Transcript - As part of My Cambridge Application, some applicants must upload a transcript as part of My Cambridge Application. Please read the transcripts infodo I need to send a transcript? It will help greatly if you have your transcript saved as a pdf on your computer in advance.

22 Oct 23:59 / Christ's information form - Please could all applicants to Christ's complete this short information form once your UCAS application is submitted.

22 Oct 23:59 / Disability / neurodiversity / mental health / long-term health conditions - If you ticked the UCAS box declaring a disability, neurodiverse condition, mental heath condition or other long-term health condition, and/or if you normally receive adjustments for exams, please read this page and follow the instructions given. It's helpful to look in advance as it may take time to get hold of the appropriate evidence needed to accompany the form, if relevant.

22 Oct 23:59 / Extenuating Circumstances Form - If anything has caused significant educational or home life disruption or disadvantage, this should be explained in your UCAS reference. In a very small number of cases an Extenuating Circumstances Form may be needed if your referee did not mention your circumstances in the reference. Details

22 Oct 23:59 / Curriculum details - We ask mature applicants / those on a foundation course / those in the first year at university to upload a curriculum summary. Please follow instructions on the curriculum details page

22 Oct 23:59 / Results breakdown - If you have taken AS level, A level, IB or equivalent exams and have something more than an overall grade for each subject, we ask you to send a document showing the most detailed breakdown available (if relevant). Please follow the instructions on the results breakdown page. NB. We don't require a breakdown for GCSE/IGCSEs, so many applicants will not need to do anything for this.

22 Oct 23:59 / Requested additional documents - This won't apply to most applicants, but if we ask you for an additional document, please upload it by 22 October at the latest, following the instructions on the additional documents page

Stage 3: 23 Oct - 5 Nov / Written work & other deadlines

Subject information
It is essential for all Christ's candidates to read the Subject information.
The subject information contains details of written work that you may be asked to upload by 5 November, as well as information about interviews, College assessments (if relevant) and any additional things that you need to know about for your subject. We are updating it gradually as more information becomes available or details are confirmed. **You may be at a disadvantage if you do not read the information for your subject in the subject information**

The 5 November (23:59 UK time) deadlines:

5 Nov / Written work + coversheets - Please read the Written work page for details of which subjects require written work, what is needed and guidelines (including how to upload your essays and cover sheets).

5 Nov / Artwork pdf - Applicants for Architecture and Design are asked to upload an artwork pdf

5 Nov / Fee Status Questionnaire for Medicine applicants - If you've applied for Medicine and are not a UK citizen resident in the UK for the past 3 years please upload a Fee Status Questionnaire and evidence documents. Please read the page for guidelines as well as the questionnaire itself, then upload your form and documents following the instructions.

5 Nov / Fee Status Questionnaire for unusual circumstances - We only require a Fee Status Questionnaire for the Medicine applicants mentioned above, however students in other subjects are welcome to upload one if you think that you have unusual circumstances or want to clarify your fee status. See the further information.

5 Nov / Eligibility document for students currently or previously on UK Government Funded Free School Meals - If you are currently or have been eligible for Free School Meals funded by the government in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales, or if you are a mature student currently eligible for benefits, please read this page to check if you need to upload a document.

5 Nov / International Science Olympiad Medal Certificate - If you've won a gold, silver or bronze medal at one of the International Science Olympiads, please see the information and upload your certificate following the instructions.

Stage 4: Nov / Selection for interviews & assessments

We now have full information from you, are reading applications, and will begin inviting applicants to attend online interviews as soon as possible in the second half of November. We will keep you updated in the yellow box at the end of this section. Invitations are sent by email. For students who we decide not to interview, we aim to communicate our decision by the end of November at the latest.

Interviews at Christ's College will be take place online on various dates from 1-17 December 2025. Please see the subject information, where more precise interview dates will be posted as soon as they are known for individual subjects.

If you said on My CApp that you will be unable for interview on a particular date, we will do our best to arrange your interviews avoiding that date. However this cannot be guaranteed due to the difficulty of arranging interviews for all candidates on the small number of dates that may be available for an individual subject.

Please do not ring the Admissions Office to check on the progress of your application. If you have an important and genuine enquiry, please email us and we will do our best to help. Remember though: once we get past the application forms stage, fewer queries = faster invitations to interview.

We have sent invitations to interview in the following subjects
Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic; Archaeology; Architecture; Asian and Middle Eastern Studies; Classics; Design; Education; English; Geography; History; History and Modern Languages; History and Politics; History of Art; Human, Social and Political Sciences; Land Economy; Linguistics; Medicine; Modern and Medieval Languages; Philosophy; Psychological and Behavioural Sciences; Theology, Religion, and Philosophy of Religion
