Professor Simon Tavaré Elected Foreign Associate of the National Academy of Sciences

Many congratulations to Professor Simon Tavaré on being elected a Foreign Associate of the National Academy of Sciences in the US.

This is the most recent of several awards being given to Professor Tavaré, he was also elected a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society in January  and, in July last year, made a DSc honoris causa at the University of Sheffield.
