Christ’s Innovation Programme is launched in collaboration with King’s Entrepreneurship Lab.

This pilot scheme offers Christ’s students the opportunity to develop their innovative, entrepreneurial, and business skills through a programme of lectures, workshops, and mentoring opportunities.

The goal of the extracurricular programme is to encourage innovation and imaginative thinking within a business context.

Who is eligible?

The programme is open to undergraduate students who are in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year and to postgraduates. Applicants can be studying any subject but students at the Judge Business School are not eligible.

The Programme

This is a one-year programme that starts off with a week-long residential before the start of the new academic year, which takes place at King’s Entrepreneurship Lab.

At the in person residential, during which students will go through the ideation process for a new idea, participants explore key concepts and frameworks through intensive courses and seminars.

Then throughout the year, the students are encouraged to develop an entrepreneurial idea with the support of the lab, receiving mentoring and three workshops.   The students also take part in E-Lab activities throughout the year, which will provide opportunities for networking and learning.

Prize

There is an opportunity, for the winning project, to receive a Prize in September 2024.

Christ’s Innovation Programme Director is Dr Elena Punskaya, Fellow and Director of Studies in Engineering.
