Christ's had a splendid representation in this year's Boat Races, which took place on Sunday 7th April on the Tideway. The Women's Blue Boat had two members of Christ's in the crew: Tricia Smith at bow and Pippa Whittaker in the 6 seat. Many congratulations to both Tricia and Pippa, and a wonderful race to watch. Particularly welcome in the year we are celebrating '40 years of women in Christ's' and therefore such an achievement by two Christ's women is a wonderful reinforcement.
It does not end there, however, as another member of Christ's, Rebecca Dell, rowed at number 6 in the Blondie boat, who also won against Oxford, and Tom Strudwick rowed at 7 in the winning Goldie boat.
A clean sweep for Cambridge, with a great contribution from members of Christ's College.
