The College is sad to report the death of Tim Lintott, Lady Margaret Beaufort Fellow, on 12th August 2022.

Tim matriculated at Christ's in 1971, reading Law.  He spent his career at Freshfields, of which he was a partner when they funded the Law Library here at Christ's.  He was personally extremely generous to the College, focussing on the Spyrou Scholarship and the College's Outreach activity.

Tim has said that some of his happiest moments were at Christ's, both as a student (he was a Cambridge Rugby blue in 1974) and later with his continuing involvement with the College, in particular with the Spyrou Scholarship, for which he was instrumental in raising money from alumni and non-alumni to support an LLM student; on the Development Board; and acting as Year Group representative for the 1971 cohort.  He generously gave much of his time to take part in College activities and was thrilled to be elected a Lady Margaret Beaufort Fellow in 2017.

Tim, with his wife Susie and daughters Katie, Rosie and Lucy, visited the College frequently.
