Thank you to all parents and guardians who are supporting a young person taking part in one of our Taster Days! We appreciate your help, including taxi services where provided! This page has some ideas of things to do whilst you are in Cambridge (it's a lovely city to explore if you've not been before, and if you want somewhere quiet to work, we can give you pointers on that too).
The Taster Day at Christ's College is for prospective students only and we ask that any accompanying parents and guardians do not enter the College whilst the events are taking place so that the young people have the best opportunity to meet each other, experience the university and find their feet. Thank you for your understanding about this! On arrival, if you leave them at Christ's Great Gate on St Andrew's Street (CB2 3BU, What3Words goods.narrow.drops), that would be perfect.
Please make a plan for where you will meet your son/daughter outside the College after the Taster Day has finished and make sure that the meeting point is clear to them! "Outside Boots" is often a good choice as there's not much pavement space immediately outside the College. Boots is visible from the Great Gate (the main gate).
If you need to check your son/daughter's timetable and instructions, see the relevant page:
