The Friends of the Choir recognises the valued contributions of alumni and former choir members to the ongoing activities of the Christ's College Choir.
The support of the Friends of the Choir allows students to continue to benefit from an enriching musical programme within the College, alongside the regular services at which they sing in Chapel. The Choir's ambitious activities, like embarking on tours and making recordings, are increasingly difficult to fund through earned income alone, and are made possible only through philanthropic support. Our Friends scheme has been established with the aspiration to support one new recording each year, as well as make a significant contribution to the costs of an annual tour.
In addition to receiving a regular newsletter detailing the Choir's activities, Friends of the Choir are invited to return to College and perform with the Choir at our dedicated Friends of the Choir Evensong service.
If you would like to make a regular donation to become a Friend of the Choir yourself, please select the link below and choose the 'Friends of the Choir' under the 'I would like to support...' section. The suggested minimum donation to become a Friend is £10 per month, or £120 per year.
