Richard Williams was appointed the Hogan Lovells University Lecturer in Corporate Law in August 2012 and joined Christ’s in May 2013.

Before joining Christ’s, Richard was a College Lecturer at Homerton College (2006-2012). He is originally from South Wales. His research interests are in the field of corporate and insolvency law. Topics discussed in his recent publications include the regulation of corporate political donations, directors’ disqualification and the simplification of private company law across the EU.

Richard lectures on company and corporate insolvency law and supervises undergraduate students in company law, the law of contract and the law of tort. Outside of his academic work he is interested in politics and many things Italian.
