The Third Court Library at Christ’s is open, located on the ground floor of the Y Building.

It is a working Library for students, Fellows, and staff of the College. It contains approximately 30,000 books and provides more than 50 study spaces.

Catherine Ascough, Librarian, said:

“We are delighted to have opened a functional and welcoming Library for the College community. It is a light-filled space with all the amenities you would expect.”

Induction tours for new and returning students will take place over the next fortnight.

The Third Court Library will remain in use for the next three years while the College realises its ambitious plans to build a new Library designed by award-winning Grafton Architects. 

The College currently awaits planning permission for the Library+ project.
