We will email all 2026-entry offer holders with overseas fee status by the end of January with the Cambridge, Commonwealth and International Trusts application form and information. In the meantime please read the offer holders finance section

Cambridge, Commonwealth and International Trusts Studentships are for students with financial need. If you do not require financial support in order to study at Cambridge, please do not apply for one of these scholarships - you are not eligible to make an application.

The deadline to apply for a Cambridge Trusts Studentship is 13 February 2026 (12 noon UK time)

Questions about doing things late? Please see the offer holder questions page rather than emailing us.
Information and scholarship search

Information about the awards available is on the Cambridge Trusts website

Please read about eligibility and use the scholarship search to find awards that you may be eligible for.  In most cases once you have made your Cambridge Trusts application, there are no additional application forms to complete for the different scholarships, however please also read the Rowan Williams Studentship page if you are hoping to be considered for that one as it requires an additional form.

Advice for completing the application form

Please first of all wait to receive your offer letter and also read the email about Cambridge Trusts Studentships carefully, once you receive it at the end of January.

If you would like to be considered for an award, please read the notes below before you start work on the application form:

> The College fee for 2026 entry is £12,600. This is included in the annual tuition fee given in the box at the beginning of your offer letter.

> The maintenance amount is in your offer letter - see the last paragraph under the heading 'Tuition fees and other costs'.

> In your personal statement it's fine to include both information on your financial circumstances and other academic factors to "sell" yourself, however it is essential to be clear about your financial circumstances

> If you plan to apply for a Christ's College International Award, please leave the Date of Decision, Tenure (years) and the Annual Value (£) fields blank. We only need the detail for applications to other scholarship/bursary providers.

> Page 5 to the end of the form (Part II) will be completed by our Director of Admissions so don't worry about that section (but do not delete it).

Uploading your application

Please follow these steps to upload your application.

STEP 1: Please save your word or pdf file with the file name following this fictional example:

For the fictional Magali Lemaire applying for Land Economy with UCAS Personal ID 1093825518, the file name would be

16-LandEconomy-LEMAIREMagali-CambridgeTrustsApplication-1093825518

Please make sure
> There are NO SPACES
> You use hypens
> There is the number 16 at the beginning.
> If you are applying for Natural Sciences, please write NaturalSciences(Physical) or NaturalSciences(Biological) in all cases.

STEP 3: Please open the pdf on your computer. Scroll all the way through, checking that the document is all there.

STEP 4: Please use the Christ's Cambridge Trusts Application upload tool to upload and submit your application. Make sure that you see the screen confirming that it has been received safely at the end.

Thank you for your help in sending your application following our instructions - it helps us to process everything as efficiently and accurately as possible.

Once you have applied

We sent emails with the outcome of Cambridge Trusts applications on 2 April (some students heard slightly earlier).

Note that if you applied for a Rowan Williams Studentship, these have not yet been awarded and you will hear later.

Further information about finance

For further information about finance for students with overseas fee status, please see the offer holders finance section.

If you are having a fee status review

If you are having a fee status review we advise you to request this / upload the questionnaire and documents as soon as possible so that you can receive the outcome as soon as possible.

If you have not received the outcome of a fee status review by 12 February, we advise you to apply for a Cambridge, Commonwealth and International Trusts Award if needed, in case your fee status remains overseas.
