When you receive your DBS certificate

You will receive a DBS certificate. You then need to do one of two things:

  • Option 1: Subscribe to the DBS Update Service
The Update Service costs £13.00 per year. It is an online service that hosts the results of Disclosure Certificates and is automatically updated by the DBS (as long as the applicant maintains their subscription). The University can check the status of a certificate using the certificate number. If you choose this option, please email your certificate number to Dee Kunze at tutorial@christs.cam.ac.uk

  • Option 2: Send your Disclosure Certificate to the Student Registry
The address to post your certificate to is

    Student Registry,
    Student Service Centre,
    New Museums Site,
    Cambridge
    CB2 3PT
    United Kingdom

The Student Registry will take a copy of the certificate and inform the College that it has been received and that no further action is required.
Online or by registered post.
