Christ's College Chapel Choir has a rich recording history stretching back more than half a century. From broadcasts and vinyl recordings of the 1970s to an extensive catalogue of CDs and digital releases, the Choir's recordings reflect successive generations of singers, organ scholars and directors, and encompass music from the Renaissance to the present day.

A substantial part of the catalogue has been recorded under Prof. David Rowland, Director of Music since 1984. Across these recordings, English Tudor and seventeenth-century music sits alongside works by composers including Parry, Howells, Britten, Leighton, Brahms, and Fauré.

Music by contemporary composers has also become an important part of the Choir's performed work. Christ's has enjoyed a particularly close association with composer and alumna Annabel Rooney, including works written for the Choir and two albums devoted to her music.

Many of the Choir's CDs are available to purchase for £10 each, subject to availability. To order, please contact the Choir Administrator at choir.admin@christs.cam.ac.uk, who can arrange postage. CDs are also available from the Porters' Lodge at Christ's College.
