We welcome applications from students in the Scottish SQA qualification system who would like to apply for Philosophy at Christ's. We assess the terms of each offer individually but our minimum conditional offer for Philosophy for students in the scottish system is A1, A2, A2 in three Advanced Highers.
We don’t expect you to take any subjects in particular in preparation for Philosophy, however, when choosing your Advanced Highers, it can be helpful to take one or more essay-based subjects, and a mixture of arts and Maths/Science subjects.
Mathematics provides useful preparation for Philosophy.

At Christ's we also offer Considering Cambridge in October of S5 (online or in person), our February Open Day in February of S5 (online or in person) and an online subject meeting for Philosophy in May/June. Other events with Philosophy content include the University open day online or in person in July of S5, and look out for any Philosophy Masterclasses as well.
