The Darwin Society holds talks on different aspects of science throughout the year.
The idea is to bring all scientists in Christ's together, hear leading scientists speak, and give scientists of all academic levels (undergraduates, graduates and Fellows) a chance to mingle and get to know each other better.
As well as the talks, there is a dinner in the College hall in Lent term, an end-of-year garden party (photos below), and sometimes dinner swaps with science societies at other colleges.
Anybody with an interest in science is welcome to join the activities (it's not restricted to Natural Sciences students).
See the Darwin Society website.
