Congratulations to our Access Abroad Hong Kong Essay Competition winners! This page is where we will put the practical information for your stay in Christ's College in early July.
Things you need to do:
- Complete the required form by Sunday 31 May (these needs a signature from both you and a parent/guardian)
- Register for the Cambridge Open Days
- Read the Cambridge Open Days progamme and plan your time, once it is available on the open days page.
Accommodation
You will have a single ensuite room in Christ's College. A towel will be provided.
Laundry
If you require use of laundry facilities there is a laundry facility located in the basement of P Staircase with washing and ironing facilities. The laundry is available for use between 15.00 and 21.00.
Formal Hall
We are pleased to invite competition winners to a formal meal in the hall on Tuesday 7 July. As guests you are not required to wear a gown but should dress smartly (e.g. no ripped jeans etc).
Supervisions
You will have a small group supervision (details to be confirmed). This is a chance to experience the small group, College-level teaching. Students at Cambridge have supervisions each week in term to discuss their work and any questions.
There may be some set preparation work. We will email you with details of the preparation by email if so and update you here.
