Friday 1 December
It's Friday and it's the beginning of December already! Today I thought I'd show you Finch looking a bit nervous about two (actually lovely) students at the window earlier this week. They then came in and gave her a cat treat so it was all OK.
Everyone gets nervous about interviews. Sometimes people expect it, sometimes it can take you a bit by surprise. Nerves are perfectly natural and the interviewers take them into account. A lot of interviewers had interviews themselves once, and they probably still remember the feeling just before! It'll be OK.
Our advice is control the things that you can control. Make sure you're well prepared on your set up and that you've got your invitation to interview printed and on the table so everything is completely clear at the time. Know that you've read Stage 5 thoroughly.
And breath - deeeeeeep loooooooong breeeeeeaths are a good thing to do if it's just before your interview and you feel overwhelmed. As you breath think in-2-3, out-2-3.
And have your playlist ready for just before.
Have a lovely weekend. See some of you at 3pm on Sunday for the interview set up webinar (booking)!
