Christ's College Library is seeking to recruit an invigilator to greet visitors and supervise the Library exhibition space while the exhibition is open to the public.
The post will be fixed term from November 2026 (ideally starting on 2 November 2026 but a later start date is permissible) until 19 April 2027.
The ideal candidate will be reliable and will be comfortable representing the College and the Library to members of the public. Although generally there will also be a member of Library staff present, there may be occasions where this is not possible, so the postholder must be comfortable working alone.
Please note that the Exhibition Room is up two flights of stairs without lift access.
The role will involve working 1 hour 50 minutes per week, every Monday, from 9:50am until 11:40am whilst the exhibition space is open.
The salary is £13.45 per hour (Real Living Wage).
