Join us for a one-day, in-person conference to explore the unruly elements of early modern masque. The conference will bring together scholars and practitioners of early modern literature, dance, history, fashion and music to interrogate the disturbing elements of court entertainment.

The day will conclude with a recital of lute song and music based around the structure and narrative of masques by Dowland's Foundry.
