The map shown in the opposite frame is an extract from an original Cambridgeshire map by the celebrated cartographer John Cary (c.1754 – August 1835). This map would have formed part of Cary's New British Atlas (1805), which he worked on in collaboration with John Stockdale. The original map is on display in our exhibition.
