Bookings for High Table and Formal Hall

This form is for Christ's alumni to request a booking at High Table of Formal Hall. More details about the process can be found on our designated Dining in College webpage.

Formal Hall and High Table are the two options open to alumni who wish to dine.

Formal Hall is most similar to the process you might remember from being a student at Christ's, dining on the long tables along with current Christ’s students. Food is served from 19:30. Refreshments need to be bought prior to dining from the Buttery. Formal Hall only takes place during term-time.

High Table refers to dining with the Fellows at the table at the end of the room. Alumni would be expected to gather with the Fellows in the Senior Combination Room from 19:00, where drinks will be served. You will then also be invited to combine with Fellows after dining. High Table takes place year-round but does require to Fellows to be in attendance and has a stricter limitation on the number of alumni who can attend each sitting.
