REUNION DINNER FOR ALUMNI WHO MATRICULATED

 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978 AND 1979

Saturday 25 September 2021

It gives me great pleasure on behalf of the Fellows, Students and Staff of the College to invite you to a Reunion Dinner in Hall on Saturday 25 September 2021. Pre-dinner drinks will take place at 6.15pm, followed by dinner at 7.00pm. Members of College who matriculated 1975 through 1979 are invited. It will be a wonderful opportunity to return to Christ’s and catch up with old friends. We hope that many of you will be able to attend this special event. Dress code will be black tie/lounge suit.

From 3.30pm to 4.30pm tea will be served in the Fellows’ Garden followed by a talk in the Yusuf Hamied Theatre at 4.30pm. This talk, entitled ‘God and Barbarians’, is by Rev Dr Robert Evans, Chaplain and Director of Studies in Theology at Christ’s. Some of you may have attended Bob’s very popular webinar on Viking invasions in January 2021 and this talk is sure to be just as informative and entertaining. You are welcome to bring a guest to the tea for a cost of £10.00, and to the talk, for which there is no charge, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate guests at dinner.

The charge for the dinner is £50.00. You can book for this event by http://alumni.christs.cam.ac.uk/2nd-reunion/25sept/1975-1979 or by contacting the Development Office - Email: alumni@christs.cam.ac.uk Tel: 01223 766710. The last date for replies is Monday 30th August 2021. In the case of the event reaching capacity before the closing date, a waiting list (on a first come, first serve basis) will be put into operation.

Single rooms are available for the night at a cost of £54.00, including breakfast.
