Welcome to the Christ's College Lifescience Network! We aim to connect alumni, undergraduate and postgraduate students (of any subject), and the broader college community who are interested in the field, an area of huge activity and tremendous breakthroughs over the last decade. Our first meeting was a great success, and we hope you will join us on this occasion.

We are delighted to be joined by three fascinating speakers:

  • Sarah Walker (m. 1990), Professor of Medical Statistics and Epidemiology at the MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL and the Nuffield Department of Medicine at Oxford University, “From Maths to Microbiology”;
  • James Anderson (m. 1991), Head of Government Affairs for GSK, "GSK efforts to combat Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)"
  • Arqum Anwar (m. 2015), PhD student at the Babraham Institute, and Marketing Director of GapSummit 2020 – talking about mentors, inspirations and GapSummit

The timetable for the evening is as follows:

6.30pm arrival and drinks
7.00pm talks, followed by Q&A
7.45pm drinks, nibbles, and networking
8.30pm close
