'If Science is to Save Us' - lecture by Lord Martin Rees

This memorial event honours alumnus, Ranjit Kumar Madhavan Nair, Founder of the Centre for Philosophy and Foundations of Science (CPFS).

The memorial lecture 'If Science is to Save Us' will be given by Lord Rees of Ludlow, Co-founder of the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk (CSER).

The opening address will be given by Lord Simon McDonald, Master of Christ's College. 

Dr Alexia Marie Lopez, Cosmologist at the University of Lancashire will discuss the lecture and Dr Dipak Dasgupta, Distinguished Fellow at The Energy and Resources Institute is the event moderator.
