The first Emerging Research Seminar of this academic year will take place in the Yusuf Hamied Theatre on Tuesday 16th November at 5:00pm.
As usual, there will be talks from a Fellow of the College who will be joined by two graduate students. These talks provide a gerat opportunity to find out more about the divedrse research at Christ's and encourage interaction between the Fellowship and graduate students at the College.
Dr Julia Shvets (Fellow) - Human nature, overconfidence and rank in the workplace;
Holly Giles (PhD Student in Cancer Biology) - Big Data to INvestigate Drug Resistance in Leukemia;
Savannah Pine (PHD Student in Medieval History) - Bromance at the Library: Intimate Male Friendship and the Librairie du Louvre's Textual Community.
The talks will be followed by a joint SCR/MCR dinner, where Fellows and graduate students have opportunity to meet.
