Christ's College Music Society is pleased to announce that Gwilym Simcock, Professor of Jazz Piano at the Royal Academy of Music, will be giving a Jazz Recital and Master Class in the Yusuf Hamied Theatre on Friday 24 January, starting at 6:00pm.
Gwilym Simcock is one of the most gifted pianists and imaginative composers on the European scene. Described by James Griffiths of The Guardian as 'a jaw-droppingly exciting pianist'. He will be performing a short recital before leading a masterclass with some of Cambridge's most talented student jazz musicians.
Entry is free, with a retiring collection.
