Nina Gould (Gold) (m. 1982, MML) is one of London's leading independent Casting Directors. Upon graduating from Christ's where she first became involved in theatre, she began teaching drama in Paris. She is best known for her 14 year collaboration with Mike Leigh, including 'Topsy-Turvy', 'Vera Drake', 'Happy-Go-Lucky', 'Another Year' and his revival of 'Ecstasy' at Hampstead Theatre.
Feature film credits include: 'Les Miserables', Ron Howard's 'Rush', Ridley Scott's 'The Counsellor' and 'Prometheus'; 'Sightseers', 'Shadowdancer', 'The Iron Lady', 'The King's Speech', 'Jane Eyre', 'Hot Fuzz', 'Nowhere Boy', 'Bright Star', 'Easter Promises' and 'Paddington'. Television credits include: three season of 'Game of Thrones', 'Restless' and 'The Crimson Petal' and 'The White', 'Rome', 'The Red Riding Trilogy','Life and Death of Peter Sellers', 'Longford' and 'The Devils' Whore'.
In 2008, Nina won the Emmy for her casting work on 'John Adams' and was nominated for the inaugural award for casting by the Academy Awards in 2026 for 'Hamnet'.
