The College holds significant collections relating to its famous alumnus Charles Darwin, including numerous first editions of his works and a series of letters to William Darwin Fox.

All printed items have been catalogued on the union catalogue iDiscover, and can be made available to interested researchers by appointment.

Please contact library staff (email library@christs.cam.ac.uk) for further information.

An exhibition entitled 'Charles Darwin: On Land and at Sea' was curated in 2009 to celebrate the two-hundredth anniversary of Darwin's birth. It showcases some of the most significant items from our Darwin holdings.
