Alumnae of Christ's are invited to attend a special Networking Event on Wednesday 15 March at Kemp Little LLP, 138 Cheapside, London EC2V 6BJ (by kind invitation of Kathryn Dooks (m. 1998)). This is the third event providing an opportunity for the women of Christ’s to connect and network in an engaging setting.

We are delighted that the new Master of Christ’s College, Professor Jane Stapleton, will be our speaker for the evening.  Professor Stapleton has had an interesting and varied career within a predominantly male dominated environment.  Initially following an academic career in Science with a PhD in physical organic chemistry from the University of Adelaide, followed by a postdoctoral position in the Chemical Laboratories on Lensfield Road, in Cambridge, Professor Stapleton later converted to an academic career in Law and has a DPhil in law from Oxford.  She specialises in the law of torts, and as a result of her background in the sciences has acted as a consultant in major commercial, pharmaceutical, medical and environmental litigation in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia and New Zealand.

The cost of attending is £29, including drinks and a buffet supper. There will be a directory of those attending the event circulated in advance, so please include your current business details with your RSVP.
