We are pleased to announce the final event arising from the first round of the Legacies of Enslavement Project at Christ's College. 'Legacies of Enslavement at Christ's: Findings from the First Year' invites three of our 2021-2 interns -- Clemmie Butler Brown, Chater Paul Jordan, and Leah Wild -- to discuss their work in conversation with invited experts in the fields of History, Art and Architecture. How has the history of Christ's been shaped by enslavement and the slave trade? In what ways can we best uncover and engage with this aspect of the College's past? And how should we respond to these findings in 2022? This event celebrates the work of 2021-2 cohort as part of an ongoing project: a new round of internships will be available this summer.

The event will be held in the Yusuf Hamied Theatre, 3:00-4:30pm.
