The SAQ

This page is part of the Christ's College additional application support for non-UK prospective students.

All applicants to Cambridge University must complete an SAQ form (a Supplementary Application Questionnaire form) by

  • 26 September (18:00 UK time) if you are applying for Malaysia or Singapore interviews
  • 22 October (18:00 UK time) for all other applicants

You will be sent the log-in details for your SAQ form by email shortly after your UCAS application is submitted. Your SAQ log-in email should be received within 48 hours of your UCAS application submission (if you can't find it, please check your spam/junk folders before contacting the helpdesk)

Please see the SAQ page on the University website for details.

The SAQ for EU and non-EU students

Applicants Is the SAQ required? What the SAQ is like
Non-EU students who have completed the COPA Yes - we will not process your application unless the SAQ is submitted by the deadline. The SAQ is a short form because once you have entered your COPA reference number (from your COPA acknowledgement email) and your UCAS Personal ID, most of the questions on the SAQ will disappear (because you've already answered them on the COPA).
EU students who do not need to send a COPA Yes - we will not process your application unless the SAQ is submitted by the deadline. The SAQ is a longer form (we estimate it will take around an hour to complete).

If you have questions about the SAQ

There is a very helpful Guide to completing the SAQ. It contains all of the questions and further explanations about them.

If you have a question about filling in the SAQ and can't find the answer in the Guide to completing the SAQ, please contact the SAQ Helpdesk directly:
