You, along with your family and friends, are cordially invited to join us to enjoy a Hog Roast lunch on the final day of racing during this year’s May Bumps. This event is always a fun occasion, whether you are a ‘boatie’ or not! It presents a great opportunity to catch up with College friends or to just spend an afternoon down by the river, soaking up the fantastic atmosphere of the May Bumps.


We have exclusive access to one of the best spots on the river to watch every division, with clear views of First Post Reach and the first two corners (First Post and Grassy), probably the most exciting point of the race with many crews bumping out right in front of us. Racing begins with the Men’s 5th division at 11.45am and finishes with Men’s 1st division racing at 5.45pm. 


The event is held at Osier Holt in Fen Ditton, Cambridge and the ticket price includes a complimentary welcome drink, a delicious Hog Roast and salad lunch served at 12.30pm followed by tea, coffee and sweet treats at 3.00pm.  A cash bar will be available from 12 noon and throughout the afternoon. Although some seating and tables will be provided, you may like to bring your own rugs and chairs to sit on. Should the weather be inclement we also have exclusive use of a large marquee situated at the back of our viewing area. We also have the benefit of ‘posh’ toilets on-site!

Please ensure that you let us know of any special dietary requirements you may have; we are using outside caterers for this event and will be unable to provide alternative options to the Hog Roast if we have not been informed prior to the event. I look forward to seeing you there.
