Light Matter

Celebrating 800 years of science through new dance, visual art and music.

'Light matter' is an exciting performance at Senate House, featuring new work by Christ's College Artist in Residence Issam Kourbaj.

In the twilight of the University of Cambridge's 800th Anniversary Celebration comes one of the most ambitious cultural events seen in Cambridge in years. Light Matter: Celebrating 800 Years of Science Through Art combines contemporary dance, live music, and stunning visual effects in a celebration of Isaac Newton and his epoch-making quest to understand the nature of light.
