350 years after the publication of alumnus John Milton’s seminal Paradise Lost, explore rare material documenting four centuries of poets and poetry at Christ’s College in our magnificent 16th century Old Library. This fascinating display of treasures includes documents signed by Milton himself, letters from Ezra Pound, and manuscript poetry written by an 18th century College servant. The exhibition also explores contemporary poets of Christ's bringing us right up to the present day with current students' work. Learn about the grand tradition of teaching and studying poetry at Christ's beginning in the 16th century with alumnus John Leland and see how Christ's poetry spans the globe with a section on poetic works in translation.

The exhibition is free and open to all every Tuesday and Thursday 2-4pm.  It will run until Thursday 30th November 2017.
