Awarded for his PhD thesis "Damages for Breaches of Human Rights: A Tort-Based Approach", the Yorke Prize is awarded annually by the Faculty Board for a thesis "of exceptional quality, which makes a substantial contribution to its relevant field of legal knowledge. The Prize has been awarded since the 1870s.
Jason (a Junior Research Fellow at Christ's) is currently working on a monograph based on this Ph.D. thesis, which is to be published by Hart Publishing, Oxford, in 2013.
