The four major awards went to:
Cameron Johnston: A.C. Blyth Sporting Award
Cameron is a third-year Historian and Captain of Cambridge University Lawn Tennis Club, ranked number 1 for tennis in the University. He is likely to play in this year's biennial Prentice Cup Match between Oxford and Cambridge and Harvard and Yale. He won the Wooler Sporting Award last year.
Daniel Longman: W. Blyth Sporting Award
Daniel is a PhD student in biological anthropology and a member of the final squad for this year's Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race. He will trial for the Great Britain team later in the year. In previous years he was involved in many different sports at College level.
Ellie Russell: Richard de la Hoyde Sporting Award
Ellie is a second-year lawyer and a full Blue in Women's Lacrosse. She has played every match for the Blues team since being selected in her first year, and the team is undefeated so far this year. She has been selected for this year's Varsity March and so will receive a second Blue. She also plays in the College's mixed lacrosse team.
Nicholas Codrington: Wooller Sporting Award
Nicholas is a second-year student reading Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. He played in the U21s Rugby Union Varsity Match at Twickenham in December 2011. He is also the youngest member of the University Ice Hockey Blues squad and should earn a Half-Blue at this year's Varsity Match. He is involved in several College teams.
