The talk Biochemistry and evolution  (or the complex beauty of the organism and the anarchy of the genome)  explored the extensive biochemical evidence that supports Darwin's Theory of evolution.

The event in the British Embassy building in Bogota was attended by about 70 people and led to an interesting and wide-ranging debate on topics as diverse as the ethics of genetic testing and the rise of eugenics in the wake of Darwin's theory.
