Christ's defeated Churchill in the semi-final of Cuppers on Saturday.
'Defeated' is something of an understatement: according to our Hon. Cricket Correspondent, 'crushed' would be more appropriate.
Christ's amassed 185 for 1, off 20 overs.
Churchill made 101 all out, off 19.3 overs.
Christ's will play Jesus in the final of cricket cuppers this coming Friday, 11 June, at Fenners. This is a 20/20 game starting at 9.30am, so it should be finished by lunchtime.
This is the first time Christ's has reached the final for a decade and follows the College's recent victory in Tennis Cuppers. Support for the team would be very welcome and the ground is only a short walk from College (cross Parker's Piece to Mill Road, then take the first right, Mortimer Road, behind the swimming pool).
