Art Book Award

Caroline Vout's Antinous: the Face of the Antique has been announced as the winner of the inaugural Art Book Award. This award by the editors of The Art Book and the Association of Art Historians aims to promote and acknowledge the best in art-historical publishing. The editors of The Art Book write: 'In Antinous we found a book of rare quality. The team at the Henry Moore Institute deserves our warm congratulations and thanks for sharing their expertise with readers. Antinous: The Face of the Antique meets our criteria by achieving an overall balance between: the quality of research and presentation of ideas; readability (the use of reader-orientated language); production (in house editing, copy-editing, proof-reading, typesetting and printing); book design and jacket design'.
