David received his award at the international conference, held in Philadelphia, of the American Musicological Society http://www.ams-net.org/awards/einstein.php .  The award is for an article (concerning music) published last year in any language by a member of the AMS or a citizen or permanent resident of the USA or Canada, before they are tenured.
