Old Library

The Old Library contains approximately 25,000 early printed books and manuscripts dating from the 11th century to the present day.

Special collections include material relating to Milton and Darwin.

Old Library News

Old Library to open to the public
The Old Library will be open to the public on a trial basis from Tuesday 15 January to Thursday 21 March 2013. Opening hours will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2pm to 4pm. For further information, see our special collections blog.

Treasures online
The Library's current exhibition, Treasures of the Old Library, is available online. The exhibition runs from 30 November 2012 to 31 May 2013, and can also be visited in person. Email library@christs.cam.ac.uk for further information.
