Finding Books

Searching for books is most easily done through the University Library’s Catalogue Newton. To avoid searching libraries across the University of Cambridge, click on Colleges A-N, and then select Christ's College from the drop-down list.

A dedicated terminal located between the two self issue computers allows readers to consult the Library's catalogue, as well as to issue, reserve, and renew books.

The catalogue for the entire undergraduate library book stock is available online. The online cataloguing of the Library’s other collections will take a number of years to complete, but printed and card catalogues are available in the interim. Please ask staff for further details.

Many books are now available in electronic format. All ebooks are listed on Library Search, the alternative interface for Newton, but not on Newton itself.
